Our jogathon was a huge success! Thank you families for your generous donations and helping hands. As a school we raised well over our goal and because of this we were able to reward our students with on campus fun celebrations. Our teacher tricycle race was a hit and students had so much fun cheering on their teachers! The Cherry on top was turning Mrs. Moore into a Human Ice Cream Sundae! The students who raised the most money got a chance to transform her into a delicious ice cream treat! Thank you Mrs. Moore for being such an amazing sport. In other news our top 3 classes who raised the most money and our top 2 classes with the highest participation earned an ice cream sundae party! Congratulations to: Mrs. K. Taylor Mr. Tillyer Mrs. Nack Mrs. Lunde Mrs. Freitas Click here to see videos of all the fun! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vaNJX-n0KzPMlA29rusPCTjX01zG-5l5?usp=share_link

We believe that this is because of the incredible students that attend our school, the awesome staff who believe that relationships with students are key to optimal learning and more importantly the incredible support of our families. Congratulations to our 6 Broncos that were Reclassified last Friday. Our theme was: You Made This Dream Come True! They were recognized during our Friday Flag Assembly and celebrated with their families with a delicious breakfast. Special shout out to our ELAC committee ladies that organized this celebration! Reclassification indicates that an English Language Learner has achieved a level of English proficiency that, without special accommodations related to language, will enable him/her to compete academically with native English speaking peers. Reclassification means that a student has reached total FLUENCY and no longer requires English learner services.

We are proud to offer a full-day Transitional Kindergarten program, which provides a bridge between preschool and kindergarten in a vibrant, nurturing, and supportive environment. This play-based program meets the needs of our very young students at their level, and it makes them excited about coming to school. TK serves children who do not meet the age eligibility for regular Kindergarten. With TK, 4-year-olds get a gift of classroom time that will help them build a strong foundation for success in school. TK students also are eligible to participate in EUSD’s after-school enrichment programs. Save a seat for your little learner now through the New Student Registration webpage! TK is offered at all 17 elementary schools in EUSD. Students who turn 5 between September 2, 2023, and June 2, 2024, are eligible for TK for the 2023-2024 school year. https://www.eusd.org/page/tk-k-special-education-preschool-new-student-registration-for-2023-2024
